Removing Flooring from Living Room
The damage to hardwood flooring can vary, even in the same house depending on the amount and length of exposure to the water. The before photo illustrates our SERVPRO employee hard at work to remove the affected wood flooring in the home. We can sand slightly curled edges of boards if the product is oak or pine, and not an engineered, laminated wood floor product. Secondary water damage can occur from excessive moisture like mold growth, rusting of appliances and fixtures, and result in inferior air quality. We mitigate the damages caused by water and moisture scientifically with the placement our equipment, constant monitoring to achieve acceptable RH relative humidity within the structure, and we can then provide a documented result of the water damage restoration service, "Like it never even happened."
